Adoption Requirements and Documents
The first step in the process of adopting a pet from Kitten Konnection is to complete this Adoption Application. It provides information that enables us to assist you in the selection of a pet. Together, we will be able to determine if the adoption is in the animal’s best interest, and ¸the process ensures that you will find an animal well-suited to your lifestyle.
ADOPTION FEE: $100.00 for under one year of age.
Our adoption fee includes being spayed/neutered, tested for feline aids and leukemia (FIV and FeLV), has age appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP and rabies), microchipped and treated for fleas, ear mites & worms as needed.
To be considered as an adopter, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have the knowledge and consent of a landlord, if relevant
- Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide medical treatment, proper nourishment and care, and training for a pet
Kitten Konnection does not support declawing of felines at any age. We want our cats to have long, healthy lives which is why we require any adopted kitten to have an indoor forever home. We require all adopters to sign an agreement stating that you agree that no adopted kitten in your possession will be declawed nor let outside for any reason.
